Thanks Sally For Thinking About The Children Of Honduras

The third Lego competition season was a great success despite all the challenges each team had to overcome. Some of them included the lack of parts (Blocks, Motors, Chargers, USB data cables, batteries). It also was our challenge to help the teams to solve their needs for both of us to have success, and we all TOGETHER did it.

Time is going on, and more kids are getting involved in our robotics programs. Therefore, we need more equipment to let all the kids have the experience of learning touching. It means our storage is getting empty, and the big obstacle is not being able to get the pieces on the ground. We are thankful to our president Dr. Richard Buten who sacrifices every day to get donors to provide everything necessary for the projects. On this opportunity, we want to thank our friend Sally for donating a large number of Lego pieces to us, which will be very useful for all the children and young people who make up the LEGO teams and everyone who wants to learn robotics next year.

Sally not only donated. With the help of her children, she packed 12 Lego boxes and made the arrangement to send them to Honduras.

After three months, the Lego pieces are with us ready to be the main tool of much learning for many kids in the region.

We are very thankful for such a great gift as Khalil Gibran said, “There are those who give with joy and that joy is their reward.”

Sally, thank you very much for sharing your joy with us!
