Alliance for Education

Camasca is celebrating an agreement with Shoulder to Shoulder, Inc.

Technology with the appropriate orientation can improve education.

Thanks to this partnership, four schools in Camasca will benefit from Smart TVs, computers, tablets, and routers from the beginning of 2023.  The equipment is loaded with the Honduran curriculum and many more resources, such as STEM simulation, interactive exercises, and libraries with more than 1000 books through the Kolibri Platform. Shoulder to Shoulder provides deployment of digital curriculum thanks to partial grants by the U.S. Department of State.

Camasca
Shoulder to Shoulder, the Mayor, and the municipal corporation are happy to sign this valuable partnership agreement.

Mr. Ignacio Bautista, the Mayor of Camasca, signed an agreement with the support of the municipal corporation. This will help the Camasca schools with technology in the classroom under the Initiative "IMPROVING ACCESS AND QUALITY IN EDUCATION".

This February 2023, Mr. Bautista will deliver six Smart TVs and will assign IT Support to help the teachers and students to best take advantage of this new technology in their classroom.

Working shoulder to shoulder, we will provide computers, tablets, routers, and educational software, plus training and follow-up to guarantee success.

In a place where there is very little or no internet connection, and sometimes even no phone signal, additionally in many cases these schools do not have printed books, so it is challenging to access quality content.

We are very happy to make alliances with local leaders and work together to provide offline solutions for offline communities.
