August 30th, we gathered with 80 teachers from all 23 schools that we are in for a meeting and training for Kolibri. 9 of the schools are brand new- 7 of which are from the Kolibri Grant. We trained on Kolibri and talked about the transition from KA Lite. We sent 8 schools off with new equipment to start in “presentation mode”. For myself, it was a special morning to have all of the teachers we have been working with over the last year and a half together in one room. I believe we work with the absolute best from each school. These teachers inspire us at Shoulder to Shoulder, and without their dedication to the kids education, our projects would go nowhere.

El 30 de Agosto nos reunimos con unos 80 docentes de los 23 centros educativos donde tenemos proyectos, para una reunión y una capacitación de Kolibri. 9 de los centros son nuevos – 7 son del subsidio del Kolibri. Entrenamos con Kolibri y hablamos del transición desde KA Lite a Kolibri. Al fin, mandamos a 8 centros con equipo nuevo para poder comenzar en el “modo de presentación”. Para mi, fue una mañana especial para tener a todos los docentes en un espacio con quién hemos estado trabajando durante el último año y medio. Creo que trabajamos con con los mejores maestros y maestras de cada centro. Estes profesores nos inpiran a todos en Hombro a Hombro, y sin su dedicación a la educación de sus alumnos, nuestros proyectos nunca tendrían éxito.
