SPECIAL VISIT

It was a unique event since we had the pleasant visit of five board members from the United States, who were impressed by the students' skills and dedication. The president, Dr. Richard Buten, in his speech, motivated the students and mentors always to give their best, as he said, “I will tell you that working together as a team to solve a challenging problem is EXCELLENT preparation for future employment – if not life itself. We often have to fail and maybe more than once before ultimately achieving our goal. So, wherever you place today, please take away that success demands preparation, dedication, persistence and team work” What a great encouraging message it was!

PLAN 2025- One pair of hand at a time

Thanks to great support from the American Embassy, and in coordination with the mayors and communities, our main objective is to expand STEM education through robotics to more schools in the department of Intibucá and Lempira. This expansion will benefit the students and contribute to the overall development of our communities.
We plan to develop a competition with four teams from the  AMFI, LENCA ERAMANI, MAMUNI, and MANCURISJ communities. The competition will involve various challenges and tasks related to robotics and STEM education. With 12 new teams plus the seven existing ones, the total would be 19. This growth is a testament to the increasing interest and participation in STEM education. We are sure that next year, the competition will be much more intense and competitive, and we can't wait to see the results!
