Every time that Kolibri advances, it is reflected in the expansion of knowledge that it causes through how the resources in the platform are taken advantage of by both children and teachers.
The mayors of the local municipalities are playing a fundamental role in the progress of this dream. Each mayor has a designated 1 or 2 people whose role is a technical support for Kolibri in their municipality. These people are and will be fundamental to take maximum advantage of the platform.
Recently Kolibri has expanded to 2 new education centres in Camasca. It was the moment of action for one of our IT support members Wilmer, who is the technical support leader for Camasca.
He was in charge of training dozens of new teachers so they could join the Kolibri family. During the process, he put into practice his knowledge of the platform that he had previously received in his training as a tech support. He shared his understanding of the installation for everyone's use; they could prepare their own classes for their students.
The process of replicating knowledge and the continual assistance to teachers is now in place, and with the technical supports leading this strategy, we believe that Kolibri will continue to be fundamental to creating quality education in Intibucá.
