On October 1, 2026, the Hotel Honduras Maya in Tegucigalpa hosted the fourth edition of Educa Digital, a gathering that brought together government institutions, non-governmental organizations, international donors committed to education in Honduras. Throughout the day, attendees visited exhibits featuring technology solutions, reviewed educational materials, and took part in panel discussions on the national digital education agenda and policy. The event has established itself as a forum for sharing experiences, showcasing results, and building bridges between sectors working toward a common goal: preparing new generations for an increasingly digital world.

Shoulder to Shoulder for the Children participated with an exhibit highlighting the work the organization has carried out for more than three decades to expand opportunities for girls, boys, and young people in Honduras. Visitors had the opportunity to learn firsthand about the Kolibri platform. It is provided entirely free of charge, operates without an internet connection, and currently reaches more than 21,000 students in communities throughout Honduras. Likewise, our robotics projects, our reading program, and our inclusive digital education program. Each initiative pursues a concrete objective, ensuring students and teachers have meaningful support tools in the classroom.

For Shoulder to Shoulder, sharing this effort alongside other organizations at Educa Digital confirms something essential: educational transformation advances more rapidly when it is built together, shoulder to shoulder.
None of this would be possible without the generosity of our donors. Your support is reflected in tablets brightening rural classrooms, better-prepared teachers, books that inspire a love of reading, and children who discover that they can program, create, and dream big. Thank you for walking alongside us and for sharing our belief in a brighter future for Honduras.
