Kolibri Project: Offline Solutions for Offline Communities

With the Kolibri Project, we are offering quality education, from Pre-k to High school levels. This year, we reached over 20,000 students, improving enrollment, retention, and promotion rates. Kolibri has become an invaluable tool that breaks down barriers and puts students on equal learning footing.

Reading Program: Cultivating Skills for the Future

Institutionalized in the department of Intibucá, the Reading Program promotes not only a love for books but also the development of leadership, teamwork, critical thinking, and social development skills. With the participation of over 30,000 students in 2024, this program contributes to the integral growth of children in Honduras, sowing seeds of knowledge that will bear fruit throughout their lives.

STEM Education: Science and Technology from an Early Age

Our commitment to STEM education allows Honduran students to explore chemistry labs and a regional STEM center, where they experiment with robotics and advanced technology from early childhood to high school. Programs include tools like Lego Mindstorms, VEX Robotics, and 3D printing, introducing students to a world of innovation and fostering a mindset oriented toward discovery and creativity.

Strengthening Alliances for Greater Impact

Thanks to strategic alliances with organizations like World Vision and financial support from BMZ, administered by AMFI and MANCURISJ, we are impacting 15 schools in 5 municipalities in Intibucá and Lempira.

Our collaboration with PNTED is also expanding: after success in two schools in Intibucá, we are planning to extend coverage to other areas in the country. Kolibri continues to prove itself an innovative solution in areas where connectivity is limited, creating equitable access to educational opportunities.

New Initiatives with UNICEF

Our collaboration with UNICEF has provided schools with complete technology kits that combine academic content with soft skills training and professional development for teachers and students. These kits enhance the educational experience, promote awareness of rights, and empower students to contribute positively to their communities, helping them recognize their potential.

A Promising Future for Education in Honduras

The success of Educa Digital 2024 attracted more organizations eager to join this mission, unifying efforts to maximize resources for the benefit of Honduran children. We thank the Honduran Ministry of Education for creating these collaborative spaces, which optimize joint work and prevent duplication of efforts.
