This bright morning, the shoulder-to-shoulder team traveled to the community of Guachipilinto. This path is full of stones, climbs, descents, and abundant dust, but deep in the mountain is this small community, and its inhabitants work daily to make it a wonderful place. They face challenges such as limited resources and difficult terrain, but their determination is unwavering.
As the sun cast its golden glow over the mountains, we, a group of dedicated colleagues, couldn't help but marvel at the profound impact our contributions have on the local teachers. To see them transition from using rudimentary tools like sticks and stones to the privilege of having Legos is a testament to our collective efforts.
In this community, parents and teacher Odalma Castillo have made every effort to build a space designated for pre-basic education children. To improve the children's education, teacher Odalma requested Legos and the Kolibri program, a digital learning platform, at the end of last year. In the picture, Jatniel (STEM coordinator) and teacher Odalma receiving legos.

She was notified that obtaining a presentation mode (smart TV) is necessary. The teacher and her family worked hard to raise the funds to buy a television they donated to the school. For this family, education is so vital that they prioritized the TV for the pre-K over having this at their house.
Today, with great happiness, we delivered a tablet with the appropriate content for preschool students, including interactive learning apps and educational videos, and legos.

On this same day, we went to the Valentín Domínguez school, where the children and teachers Evelyn Muñoz and Milagro Hernández welcomed us with great joy. At this school, the parents worked to raise funds and buy the television. It is worth mentioning that two girls with autism attend this school. Nothing caught their attention during our visit, but the colorful Legos did. How satisfying to know that small, colorful plastic pieces make a big difference in a child's mentality.

We continue to empower mayors and parents to buy more televisions and bring this hope of a fun education to more children.
Thanks to each donor for being part of this beautiful project. Together, we are providing a ray of hope to the most forgettable kids and teachers!
