Providing children with tools and opportunities from an early age is crucial for developing their skills. It will be strengthened throughout their academic careers. We are deeply committed to supporting this process by promoting competitions that foster development in STEM areas. Our dedication to the children's growth and learning is unwavering, and we are proud to be a part of their educational journey.
This year, we are thrilled to announce a significant growth in our LEGO STEM competition. What started with a modest five to ten teams has now expanded to an impressive 40 teams. This growth is not just limited to the Mancomunidad AMFI, but has also reached MANCURISJ, MANLE, and MAMUNI, with 10 teams per community. This is a testament to the increasing interest and engagement in our program from all the involved parts which includes majors, parents, and teachers.
Competition by MANCOMUNIDAD 2025
This year's competition, titled Block Fest STEM and featuring the theme "Building my ideal city," began with the distribution of kits to new teams, along with an induction to guide them through the process. The competitions were held by the community, with a total of four competitions, each organized and executed with the support of the municipal directors. These were held on different dates, allowing the teams the necessary time to prepare. Look at their happiness!
The active involvement of the community in these competitions, which is a proof to the program's inclusivity and community-driven nature, is a key highlight. During the sessions, specific criteria were evaluated. Little Giant demonstrated their acquired skills in creativity, teamwork, responsibility, public speaking, and coordination, among others. These pictures show the happiness of teachers and students receiving their prizes as Mancomunidad champions.
We are delighted to see the children's enthusiasm for creating their ideal cities and, at the same time, for explaining them. These types of activities generate a positive impact on society and reflect the progress that can be achieved in education through initiatives like these.
