We, teachers, parents, and students respecfully address to you, the NGO Shoulder to Shoulder to thank you for providing us with the "KOLIBRI" Platform. Gratitude -We are grateful for the use of pedagogical tools in teaching and administrative planning, continuous assessment processes, texts, and reading platforms. This is strengthening our performance in mathematics, using applications and devices, and most importantly, thank you for providing quality education for the boys and girls of our city so that they can access an unknown world of technology.
Initially, it wasn't easy because of our culture and the few opportunities for access to technology. Still, now it is notable after two years of having the support and acceptance of the project in its implementation by the educational community 520 parents, 30 teachers, and 780 students.
Sustainability processes: parents contributed to the provision of 7 wooden furniture for the safety of the equipment, acquisition of power strips to charge the devices since we have 250 tablets for the third cycle in seventh, eighth and ninth grade, 35 tablets that are rotated during the week among 250 children in fourth, fifth and sixth grade. Students and parents contribute ten lempiras monthly for the sustainability of the equipment (Tablet) when chargers need to be repaired or replaced, protective glass, and covers placed.

This past year, 2024, has been a year of remarkable achievements for our students. Notable successes include a 95% improvement in Spanish and mathematics, first-place wins in local and national math olympiads, victories in reading contests, and obtaining the high record of books read. Along with this, enhanced reading and writing skills, improved reading comprehension, increased student inclusion, reduced school dropouts, and heightened parental involvement in student homework, both at home and at the school.
Students are not only gaining significant knowledge but also experiencing a positive shift in their behavior, thanks to the KOLIBRI digital educational transformation. As we step into 2025, we are witnessing an increase in enrollment and a noticeable change in the attitudes of parents towards their educational responsibilities. This project is not just motivating our children to use devices, but also instilling in them a love for learning new methodologies.

We are delighted and grateful for the opportunities that have been provided to our students. We are committed to being co-responsible for the sustainability of everything that supports us, and we pledge to continue improving every day.
This commitment to sustainability ensures that our educational initiatives will continue to thrive and benefit our students in the future. THANK YOU!
