GREEN MISSION
2026

Robotics is a branch of engineering that helps develop different skills in students; many require perseverance, others may not, but above all, they require imagination and a desire to learn by doing.
Robotics is a discipline in which you learn by failing; teams face different challenges with their robots, but through the different tests, those challenges become learning.
The young people with their VEX V5 kits embarked on a new challenge, a challenge that goes beyond the limits of just one game, but focuses on caring for the environment. This year, the challenge was called GREEN MISSION, which required teams to design a robot that could classify waste in an orderly manner with the help of the students.

Last August 22 was a day full of emotions; from early in the morning, the teams arrived with their robots ready so that the judges could make their respective reviews before entering the field.
Prepared, then, the program that the host school had prepared before the competition began. After witnessing each of the artistic points, the competition began, in which five teams faced each other in rotating rounds to be within the first positions in the ranking. They ran a competition, but more importantly, a coopertition where collaboration and teamwork mattered just as much as winning.
The members of each of the teams were anxious, reviewing the ranking after each round and improving techniques to be able to accumulate a higher score and thus move on to the final rounds. This is how 4 of these teams went to the final rounds due to the score they accumulated in the previous rounds.

With enthusiasm and a lot of desire to win, these semifinalist teams faced each other one by one for the first 3 places, with the following teams being the winners:
CRISSOL
Robotics Club VEXTRON
Robotics Club Steel Legends Robotics Club
Each team, together with their mentors, celebrated with emotion the achievement of these places, thus celebrating each of the strategies that led them here, because robotics is a discipline that helps young people strengthen skills such as critical thinking, problem-solving, and teamwork, in addition to fostering bonds of friendship between the members of the different teams.
Every event like this reaffirms our commitment to continue investing in the STEM education of our new generations.
Thank you to our donors for putting all their hearts into each of these projects to bring new forms of hands-on learning to schools.
