With excitement from the previous year we had some new teams join our regional league making the competition extra exciting for all involved. A coaches' committee was created to help organize the second competition and to have every team's voice represented, not just the organization's. It was decided that the event would be held in Santa Lucia.
The theme for the challenge was: "Smart Cities", new concepts, new ideas, and new technologies that help build the cities of the future. Cities with more efficient processes, green energy, and innovative concepts for all parts of our life. These developments help us save energy, increase traffic safety, and improve public transportation systems. But they can also help the government to function better and can make people's lives easier.
We had the pleasure to have our US CREE team leaders, Laura Manship and Dr. Dick Buten with us in Honduras for the competition!
